Blair Waldorf is a style icon for the ages. Though her look has evolved over the years, there are some key elements that have remained constant. Her preppy, understated elegance and ultra-feminine aesthetic have slowly come back into fashion in recent years, and I predict that even more of her style will make a comeback in the near future.

According to Pinterest, a big trend set to take over in 2022 is PEARLCORE. Now what is pearl core you may ask? Think a heavenly iridescent dream where classic (but could feel a bit stuffy) pearls make a comeback and are everywhere! From home decor to weddings to nail art this traditional accessory gets an update for the modern age.

Makeup, hair products, skincare, and more – singers spend a large amount of their time interacting with the beauty world. Does that mean they have the knowledge to start their own beauty company? With the number of singers launching brands the past few years, it seems Hollywood thinks the answer is YES.

With the Sex & the City reboot right around the corner, it has got all of the internet talking. What will the women be wearing? Will we get more iconic looks like the original? The online fashion sphere exploded when paparazzi caught a shot of Sarah Jessica Parker filming for the reboot in what looked like a Forever 21 dress. “Carrie Bradshaw in a forever 21 dress seems illegal, ” a fan on Twitter wrote.

Take a look at any influencer’s Instagram page, most likely you will find them decked out in clothing and accessories covered in logos from huge luxury brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, or Supreme. Walk down one of the boardwalks lined with cheap beachwear and t-shirts, you’ll find the Gucci stripes on almost every type of item in the store. Love it or hate it, logos are massive in the fashion market today – both legitimate and knock off.

Diet culture can feel like it is pushed down our throats since we are barely old enough to spell our own names. It can subconsciously affect us into using food as a reward or a major source of guilt, and can lead to wanting to say screw it all - and eat all the junk food you can find. There are a hundred different diets out there telling you what to eat and what not to eat, and none of them seem to line up.

Astrology is defined by the Oxford dictionary as the “study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies interpreted as having an influence on human affairs and the natural world.” Even if you have never looked into astrology yourself, you probably know your sun sign. You might even know some of the stereotypes of each sign; “Never trust a Gemini” or “Cancers are cry babies”.

If you are like me, this year isn’t turning out anything as you expected it to. Growing up, many of us dream about moving into our first apartment post-college in the city, decorating, and hustling at a dream job. The movie script for your early twenties. Life doesn’t always work out that way or may take a bit longer than the societal timeline we think we should be on. It can make us feel a bit stuck, stuck in your hometown, stuck in your old routines.

One of my biggest dreams as a fashion illustrator is to see my work in major retailers, so I’m very excited to share with you this new announcement!

Time flies! I can’t believe today is my 8th business anniversary. When I started sketching my very first fashion drawing on my apartment kitchen counter, I could never imagine that 8 years later I would have built a brand to inspire and empower women all around the world.

Our March live workshop was about learning to make seasonal bucket lists! Content creator and planner babe, Michelle McCollum aka Plan On It, led this workshop creating her spring bucket list!

In the workshop we focused on appreciating what each time of the year has to offer and living in the moment.

Our February live workshop was centered around mental health! Licensed mental health therapist and planner babe, Robin Roseborough aka Craftyplanner_queen, led this workshop on finding self love through planning and journaling. In the workshop we covered everything from best practices, coping skills, boundaries & daily practices of self-love for creatives living busy lives.

A little bit about Sandra: Sandra Lucia used to be an art director at Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce site. It was a high pressure job that always had her working long hours. Last year she took Rongrong’s fashion illustration 101 course. Taking what she learned in the course she started to build HER OWN ART EMPIRE! Today, she is making more income as an independent artist than she did at her old job as an art director for Amazon!
